Eilene Davidson
Producer

Eilene Davidson is an independent Olivier and Tony nominated Theatre Producer working on Broadway and in the West-End. Recently produced plays include A Merchant of Venice (RSC, tour and Criterion theatre, London) Ralph Fiennes’s Macbeth (London UK tour & Washington DC) Plaza Suite (Savoy theatre) and Enemy of the People (Duke of York’s theatre) as a co-producer with Wessex Grove and Hills of California with Neal Street.

Recent productions on Broadway include ‘The Shark is Broken’ (Golden theatre) the award winning ‘Prima Facie’ on Broadway, ‘A Doll’s House’ (Hudson Theatre), ‘Death of a Salesman’ (Hudson Theatre) and ‘Leopoldstadt’ (Longacre theatre). In 2022 EDP produced the premiere of Edna O’Brien’s ‘Joyce’s Women’ at the Abbey theatre in Dublin, the Broadway sensation ‘Plaza Suite’ (Hudson Theatre) and the award winning ‘Anything Goes’ (Barbican theatre). Former west-end hit plays include ‘Admissions’ (Trafalgar theatre), ‘Uncle Vanya’ (Pinter theatre), ‘The Grinning Man’ (Trafalgar theatre), ‘A Day in the Death of Joe Egg’ (Trafalgar theatre), ‘Starry Messenger’ (Wyndhams theatre), 9-5’ (Savoy theatre) and the Olivier award winning new play ‘Emilia’ (Vaudeville theatre).

Eilene Davidson Productions is currently developing 2 new plays and the musical ‘The Curious Tale of Benjamin Button’ with ATG for production in the West-end later this year.

Eilene’s main interest is in new writing and she was a founder of Stage Traffic a UK/USA company specialising in producing new plays. She is in the President’s Circle at BAFTA and is a member of Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and formerly sat on the Board of the Huntington Theatre in Boston, USA. She is producing her first film later this year.

Michael is a writer, director, and dramaturg. His expertise lies in working with EDP to identify compelling scripts, nurture emerging playwrights, and facilitate the development of vibrant stories with fresh perspectives.

A founder member of Stage Traffic with Eilene, his work includes writing and directing the multi award nominated This Little Life of Mine at Park Theatre and directing the critically acclaimed Late Company and the sell-out hit show 3Women at Trafalgar Theatre.

Having both a degree in Performing Arts from Middlesex University and training as an actor at LAMDA Michael has worked extensively in theatre and television in the UK and Internationally.
